Diane Sample - Poems, Christian Inspiration (featured column)

Diane is the mother of 5, grandmother of 8 (with more coming), and has been married to the same man for 40 years.  She also teaches at a Christian school, is a Secondary principal, has been saved since 1971 Feb.25, is ordained and has a degree in religious education.  She travels on missions trips as God allows (mostly to Hispanic countries), is fluent in Spanish and teaches science, Bible and everything else needed except math.

Diane is scheduled to speak at a women's conference in Trinidad in November of 2001.  She says "These poems in the rewriting bless me afresh. I have been writing since 1979 and most are born out of situation that I or someone else has been struggling with. Some of them are Psalmitic, some begin on a sad note, but always God gives hope. I like to paint with words and with brushes."
