Doris lives in a rural area in retirement, in south Arkansas with her husband of 35 years.  They have 2 grown married children who live nearby and a 14 year old grandson, who keeps them young at heart and very busy.  As was everyone, Doris was devastated by the tragedy of September 11, 2001.  Usually, in order to deal with pain of this magnitude, I write to express my feelings as I have done in "Old Glory".
