It
happened two years ago. I was toward the end of my third pregnancy and
went into labor at 27 weeks. They stopped my labor and put me on bed
rest. Well, as much as I could with two young daughters to care for.
Then at 36 weeks I went into labor and delivered my son, barely breathing.
He was taken right away and placed in an incubator. We waited, and after
3 days he was well enough to come home. Sounds pretty normal, but with
me being off of work our financial burden was extreme. Our home had gone
into foreclosure. We had already lost our van and the bills were pilling
up.
My
husband who was not a man of strong faith said he needed to be alone, and he
went outside. Here he went out to pray and asked God to please help.
A few days later he found he had won on a ticket he had bought from a friend
who was selling it for his church. He had forgotten all about and
thought it would be nice an extra $100.00 would help. Then he told my
husband that he hit the jackpot, which was $15,000.00.
I
believe to this day that God had answered my husbands prayers. He prays
more and goes to church. Miracles can be small, like my beautiful boy or
they can be large. Just keep the faith!!
