I already knew Helen Keller was born on the same day as mine, but when I saw the big list of artists, writers, musicians and other famous people born on our birthday, I was pretty impressed!

HistoryChannel.com is a great web site that I discovered while researching my own special day. Along with this great birthday locating service, they also have a very well designed site. They offer historical information great for research, home schooling and just for fun, as well as a daily feature titled "This Day in History," and a wonderful search feature for "Any Topic in History." You could easily spend a few hours on this site, and it's a definite keeper. Tell your friends about it so they can look up their birthdays too.

When you get to the start page, scroll about half way down to find the birthday feature. It will be in the left column and provide a place for you to select your month and day of birth. Hit "go" and you're on your way to find the secret history of your special day, have fun!
