TO TOUCH A STAR
by Barbara Fellows
When I look up at night and see
the beauty that's so far,
I wish down in my soul
that I, could touch a star.
To have the twinkle that is there
shine within my eyes.
Then God could make a million more
to sprinkle in the skies.
But we were meant to see the glory
shining in the heavens,
and give thanks to God on high
for all that we've been given.
And when I think of what I have
down here on Earth, so far,
I realize with happiness
that I have touched a star.

her spare time she writes poetry. Barbara is an avid reader also but has
