Doubts and Fears

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.  He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  Psalm 23

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.  Psalm 34:15

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find' knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7: 7,8

Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!  Matthew 7:9-11

Do not set your heart on what you shall eat or drink; do not worry about it.  For the pagan world runs after all such things and your Father knows that you need them.  But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.  Luke 12:29-31

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

Faithful is he who calls you, and he also will bring it to pass.  1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NASB)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (fear), but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.  2 Timothy 1:7

The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.  James 5:16 (NASV)
