The eagle soars;

The wind of courage beneath its wings.

The eagle soars;

Though sad the song it sings.

The eagle soars;

Through freedom's darkest night.

The eagle soars;

With Truth its only Light.

The eagle soars;

By God's unfailing grace.

The eagle soars;

In swift, determined pace.

The eagle soars;

Using winds of circumstance.

The eagle soars;

In freedom's awesome dance.

The eagle soars;

Undaunted by its enemies.

The eagle soars;

Now on its knees.

America will soar as she stays on her knees.
